Operated by Hakula Lodge, "MV Hakula" is a 34-foot game fishing boat which will comfortably carry up to six anglers. The boat has fish finder GPS, toilet and shower, safety equipment and a fully equipped galley, with prime fishing spots just a 30 minute boat ride from the lodge. AUD$900 per day for sole charter of MV Hakula, professional services of skipper and deckie, all gear and light lunch, with low season prices available on application. |

Hakula Lodge's two self-contained units are located on the waterfront, 2 kilometres from the centre of Neiafu and about a 30 minute boat ride to prime fishing grounds. The air-conditioned units consist of a king size bed (which can be converted into two singles) and a fold-out sofa in the lounge, an ensuite bathroom with hot and cold rain water, a fully equipped kitchen area, and a deck overlooking the beautiful harbour. There is a private jetty, pontoon and weigh station, as well as a barbeque area for guests to use. Also available are two mountain bikes and a sea kayak for hire, and a 7-seat mini bus for day tours and free airport transfers. |
