There are few places left in the South Pacific which return the visitor to a bygone era a time of ships under sail, pristine beaches, abundant marine life and traditional ways of living. Vavau Holiday Homes is a small local vacation rental agency based at Neiafu on Vava'u Island, Kingdom of Tonga. If you are going to Vava'u for a few days or a year they can help. On their website you will find a selection of rental houses that they currently represent.
The holiday homes offer a unique, relaxing holiday experience. They are privately owned homes, each with its own character and setting. They will meet you at Vavau Airport and transfer you to your holiday home, make sure you are settled in, and return you to the airport at the end of your holiday. All houses are within 10 min drive from the main town, Neiafu.

There are also two beds in the lounge for accommodating larger parties. The open plan lounge is fan cooled opening out on to the large deck, with large double folding screen doors for the evenings. Possibly the best feature is the large covered wooden deck to relax around the six seat hard wood table and enjoy the fantastic views down the harbour. It is 4km out of town (quiet) which is a TOP $6 taxi ride or 5 minute boat trip. We have our own 4WD Air-con van and driver available for dining out & trips around the island at competitive rates.
