Women's Day
On Saturday 8th March the Women's Day was marked by the women of Neiafu at Maamamoónia Hall. The programm started with a prayer. Polotu Paunga the Acting Director for Women's Development in Nukualofa was the guest of honour of the day. Papiloa Foliaki also from Nukuálofa also joined this special occassion.
The area of Neiafu had been divided into 3 sections i.e Falaleu, Fungamisi and Loto Neiafu. The women of every section showed the traditional Tongan food and its importance.
