New General Manager WBOT

Westpac Bank of Tonga staff Vavaú Branch, warmly welcomed the new General Manager for the Westpac Bank of Tonga on Tuesday 10th June for his first visit to the branch. General Manager Mr Ashley Matheson accompanied by his wife Mrs Matheson and Carmel Butler, Manager Consumer/Business Relationship for the Westpac Bank of Tonga.

The 3 students from colleges that Westpac Bank of Tonga financed their school expenses were invited with their parents for the occassion.

A big delicious morning tea was prepared by the Vavau staff for the guests.

Second row - Laumanu Lynch, Tomasi Lynch, Ésialoni Kapeli, Kalafitoni Latu (principal Vavaú High School) represent Ásena Foliaki.

Three students from the colleges were Álifeleti Lynch, Timote Kapeli and Ásena Foliaki. Álifeleti Lynch is a pioneer student that the Westpac first awarded scholarships to on funding school expenses when finishing college last year. Álifeleti now has a scholarship from the China Government and he will leave for China in August. Timote Kapeli of Leimatuá is a form 6 student from Saineha High School. Ásena Foliaki of Talau is a form 5 student of Vavaú High School.
